You know how much I love my Mealthy Crisp lid and Multi Cooker. Recently they introduced a 10″ stainless steel frying pan and today I’m going to share my experiences after using it for several weeks in my kitchen.
I’m partnering with Mealthy to share with you my experiences using their 10″ stainless steel skillet. I was sent this skillet to review, but the opinions are my own.
Mealthy is a company I have worked with in the past. I’m a recent convert to pressure cooking and their multi cooker is a staple in my kitchen. Not only does it pressure cook, but it can slow cook and saute all in the same pot.
They have a Crisp Lid product which is game changing. It can turn any 6 or 8 quart pressure cooker into an air fryer.
When I was approached about testing out their new Stainless Steel Frying Pan I jumped at the chance. I knew that if Mealthy was making the skillet it would be a quality product at an affordable price.
I have a couple of skillets that are my go to pans in my kitchen. Original Calphalon and All Clad are what I normally use. The Calphalon was what I purchased right out of college and the All Clad was a wedding gift.
This skillet performed equally well– let me tell you about what I found in using it over the last month.
What makes a great frying pan?
- Lightweight, or at the very least not heavy
- Even cooking
- Easy to clean
I use a skillet all of the time. I need it to be lightweight so I can move it around as I’m using it.
I was pleasantly surprised at how well balanced and lightweight the Mealthy Frying pan is. It made making garlic sugar snap peas and tossing them around super easy!
Great Depth for Frying
The skillet cooked my grandma’s southern fried chicken beautifully. It was deep enough I could have just the right amount oil in the bottom of it. There was still plenty of room so I knew when frying that none of the oil would boil over.
Food Cooks Evenly
The reason the fried chicken came out even was because the pan is constructed with a 5 layer composite (stainless steel on the outside and 3 layers of an aluminum alloy core) which gives what they refer to as the ultimate frying experience. In my words… it made my chicken come out evenly cooked all of the way through.
Easy Clean up
This skillet cleaned up super easily. I made Chicken Marsala with a thick sauce which was as easy as wiping out the dried bits left on the bottom then placing it in the dishwasher.
Frying chicken with hot oil also cleaned up super easily. I poured out the leftover oil then placed it into the dishwasher. It came out clean without any additional scrubbing.

My favorite part of the pan is the handle. I can’t tell you how many times I have burned my hand on a hot handle on other cooking pans.
The handle on the Mealthy Frying pan has a hollow core so it stays cool even when you are frying on high.
It’s super comfortable to hold too…. and is nicely balanced.
Because its made of stainless steel with an aluminum alloy core it can be used on ceramic, gas, electric and induction cooking surfaces.
The price is very good. At $59.95 currently its a great value for a very versatile skillet.
Who is this Skillet perfect for?
This is a great skillet for anyone who loves to cook. I gave one as gift to a friend who was just starting out in their own apartment. It would be a great wedding gift, or to send along with someone going off to college! Being able to cook successfully in a quality skillet is something anyone would appreciate!
