Tzatziki sauce recipe: A creamy sauce for grilled meat, a dipping sauce for vegetables or us it  as a healthy option for a dressing for your favorite salad!

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1/2 cup cucumber grated and drained (see first direction)
  • 1/4 cup carrots grated
  • 2 cloves garlic minced finely
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Grate the cucumber then squeeze out any extra moisture.  (This will avoid your sauce from being runny) 

  2. Add all ingredients, drained cucumber, carrots, garlic, lemon juice to greek yogurt.

  3. Stir to mix well.  Add salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Ideally make 3 hours before serving (up to overnight). This allows flavors to meld.  Store in an airtight container in fridge until ready to serve.
